Mexico Miracles

 

"Have you ever heard of the Gospel before?"

"No."

"Could I share it with you?"

"Yes." 

Reuben gave his life to Christ after hearing the Good News of Who Jesus is, what He did for him, and after knowing that he can have a personal relationship with Jesus.

"Let's go to one more house."

"Excuse me, sir. We are missionaries from the United States and we are going throughout your neighborhood giving out free Bibles and we were wondering if you would like one."

"Thank you so much. This is an answer to my prayer. My mom is sick in the hospital and we are looking for hope. My family has been wanting a Bible but we couldn't afford one."

  Jesús and his family got a Bible!

"Jesus, what are we supposed to do? There are no kids at the park for us to do our ministry and we've invited them already."

"Worship and wait." 

Our team worshiped and prayed at the park for over an hour. 

20 minutes before we were supposed to leave, a couple we met earlier that day while we were giving out Bibles, showed up to the park to talk to us. Jasmine shared about the character of God and answered some hard questions they had. We gave them a Bible and immediately, the guy started reading from the book of John to his girlfriend. In that moment, both  Jesús and Karen gave their lives to Jesus!

These are a few of many stories I could tell you about what happened in Mexico. 

If you were to ask me what the most impactful thing God did in Mexico was, I would have to say He showed the people of Mexico what true and real relationship with Him looks like. 

God did more than we could've ever asked or imagined and I'm so glad I got to be in Mexico with my team during that time to watch Him work.

Dear Mimi, 

Hi!! We made it! I just spent two and a half months in Mexico, with my team from SOMD, in YWAM Louisville where we got to share the Gospel and got to love and serve the people there! It was amazing! So many people came to know the Lord, received Bibles, and experienced healing and deliverance. I could tell you story after story of God's goodness and faithfulness!

But...I also got COVID!! And had to stay two extra weeks. It was so hard yet so refining and such a sweet time with Jesus. He cared so well for me and my team during that time and provided in super cool ways to get us all home. 

 I cannot even begin to tell you Who Jesus has been to me or what He's done in me these past 6 months. I'm more in love with Him now then I've ever been and everything in me wants to tell you about it!

It has been one wildly excellent and beautifully overwhelming ride. You wouldn't believe it if I told you everything that our Jesus did here in Mexico...then again you're in His presence. There's nothing about Him you won't believe now. Dance with Him for me tonight. We'll talk someday soon. I love you more.
